Unique Selling Points In A Nutshell

Solutions for Unique Needs.

Europe’s leading brand for LFP.

IBUvolt battery materials do not represent  a standard product line. Instead, customers receive the cell chemistry that meets their specific requirements for further processing. We guarantee that our cathode materials comply with the latest regulations and quality standards. Our rigorous selection process of appropriate precursors ensures this. The addition of selected elements continuously improves the characteristics of the material under challenging conditions, such as freezing temperatures or high charging and dis-charging currents. With all the necessary components in place, we adapt the process to create the optimal atomic structure and macroscopic particle size for the customer’s cell design. Our electrochemical laboratory employs the most rigorous quality control measures in the industry, ensuring that our materials are consistently high-quality, whether on pilot lines or in production facilities.

We Ensure a Sustainable European Value Chain.

Powering the Future with European Resources.

We are the driving force in the development of a European value chain to produce battery materials. IBU-tec partners and customers are expanding their raw material development activities in Europe and Germany to gain independence from regions with long, vulnerable supply chains—and they’re doing it now. Our customers are ideally positioned to meet the growing demand for battery cell production and materials thanks to regulations and directives in Europe, the UK, and the USA. With IBUvolt battery material products, they can do so by supporting a sustainable European value chain.

Carbon Footprint According to European Standards.

Our focus is on establishing a sustainable and efficient production process for our battery materials. Our innovative process technology with high standards additionally leads to a reduced Carbon Footprint. For example, the production of IBUvolt® LFP402 emits around 40% less Carbon than comparable materials from East Asia. In the coming quarters we plan to further optimize its production processes and further increase Carbon reduction to a good 50%. For an average battery for an electric car, the use of this innovative European material avoids around one tonne of environmentally critical Carbon Dioxide. This results in an improvement in the Carbon footprint of around 7% for an entire electric vehicle through the use of IBUvolt materials.
